Eenie Meanie is an extremely versatile property suiting itself to all manner of performance environments and situations — perhaps even yours.

It is designed to tour with very few props and modest technical requirements. It can be produced in an academic or corporate setting with a projector and a screen, but also stands alone as moving performance piece in a proper theatre with set, lights and video.

Possibilities include:

  • Fully-mounted theatrical production with an open-ended run.
  • Benefit performances for socially conscious organizations.
  • Tour of colleges and universities.
  • Tour of area high and middle schools.
  • Tour of small theaters in middle America.

Interested theatre companies should consider that, while the concept of the piece is fully realized, we are open to revamping, reframing and input from other directors, designers and producers. There is always a “next level” and we are certainly able and open to reaching it. There are many artistic freedoms available with the backing of a committed artistic organization that the show has yet to enjoy.

For academic situations, there is also an optional led discussion that has proven very successful. Directly following curtain call, Teresa engages the audience in a structured discussion designed to lead the participants to possible solutions for racial conflict and dissolving attitudes of otherness between sectors of the population.

There are so many directions that Eenie Meanie could go; so many opportunities for this innovative piece to have a positive influence on audiences. If you have any ideas, please contact Teresa at 818.631.6743 or teresa@eeniemeanie.com.
